“HarithArana” to plant 80,000 trees


A Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU) was signed between the Bank of Ceylon and the Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment to launch “HarithaArana” (plant 80,000trees) to  commemorate  the 80th Anniversary of the Bank of Ceylon, under the patronage of State Minister of Environment, Ajith Mannapperuma recently.  Secretary of Ministry of Mahaweli  Development and Environment, Mr Anura Dissanayake, the State Secretary of Environment Mr Mapa Pathirana, Chairman of Bank of Ceylon, Mr Ronald C Perera , and Conservator General of Forest Mr.  C. Weragoda participated on  this  occasion.
