On 14 August, Colonel Keith Miles, the newly appointed Defence Attaché of the United Kingdom in Sri Lanka, paid a courtesy visit to Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) at the Ministry of Defence in Sri Jayawardenepura, Kotte. Accompanied by outgoing Defence Attaché Colonel Darren Woods, the discussions focused on fortifying bilateral defence cooperation, enhancing mutual understanding, and exploring fresh avenues for collaboration.
