Respect Costs Nothing, Means Everything

Montana Governor Greg Gianforte, accompanied by a state delegation, met Deputy Minister of Defence Major General Aruna Jayasekara (Retd) in Colombo on 9 October.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister expressed appreciation for the assistance extended by the United States to Sri Lanka in defence, military cooperation and disaster response.

Governor Gianforte reaffirmed the interest in further strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing defence cooperation with Sri Lanka, reflecting the importance of continued engagement between the two sides.
