INSEE Cement to provide cement at concessionary rates for military personnel

INSEE Cement Sri Lanka signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of
Defence and entered into an agreement today (Jan 30) at the Defence Ministry to provide cement
bags under a concessionary price to the Tri Service personnel.

Chairperson of the INSEE Cement Sri Lanka Nandana Ekanayake and Chief Executive Officer
Jan Kunigk presented vouchers symbolically to the Welfare Directors of the Sri Lanka Army,
Navy and Air Force during the session.

Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne expressed his appreciation for the support extended by
the INSEE Cement Company.

Military Liaison Officer of the Defence Ministry Maj. Gen. Dinesh Nanayakkara, Head of
External Affairs and Channel Development-INSEE Cement Chandana Nanayakkara, Director-
Commercial Nandana Amunuthuduwa, General Manager–Sales Shafee Khan, Head of Marketing
Gayani Perera, Channel Development Manager Madura Fernando, Executive of Channels Kolitha
Harshana of the INSEE Cement and Welfare Directors of Tri-Forces were present at the occasion.
